Our Story

Gourdo's began in 2001, when an old, abandoned Italian restaurant inside The Fort Entertainment Complex in Taguig City was reimagined and rebuilt into our first flagship store.

Drawing on years of culinary experience and a shared love of homemaking, our founders saw that empty space as a blank canvas — and filled it with a carefully curated collection of professional-quality, ergonomic housewares sourced from around the world.

From day one, our goal has stayed the same: search the world to bring the best in food, cooking, and homemaking to our customers, backed by genuinely attentive service.
In 2006, that mission was recognized on the world stage — Gourdo's won the Global Innovator Award (GIA) at both the Pan Asia and Global levels during the International Home and Housewares Show at McCormick Place in Chicago, USA.

Since then, strong relationships with both local and international partners have allowed Gourdo's to grow into a network of stores across Metro Manila, an online store, and a presence on major e-commerce platforms — while staying known for our highly coveted hands-on cooking and baking workshops for anyone with a passion for food.
